I received a UPS delivery from Verizon addressed to the people who owned my home _six years ago_. I called Verizon’s 800 number to report the snafu and they wanted me to take the package to a UPS place and send it back to them. I told them that I would not do that, but I would be willing to hold the package for UPS to pick it up. They said no thanks. So it went into the trash. ---

Into the trash? I’d have at least opened it and sold whatever it was on ebay or something. ---

Fill it with sand, tape it back up, and then ask your obnoxious neighbor to hold it for you. ---

They wanted me to bring it to UPS. I said, “I’m leaving it outside my door,” pick it up or next trash day it’ll be in the garbage.
