That sounds pretty perfect. You don’t need any improvements, but if you to go over the top, just pamper him as much as possible. Cook dinner, don’t let him help with the dishes, long backrub after the bj, etc. Emphasize that it’s his night and you’re pampering because you love him and he should just sit back and enjoy it. He’ll worship you. ---

I hope he had a day off too, shucks he could be exhausted when he gets there. “Is it typical for oral sex to be reserved for special occasions?” If you get a BJ on your birthday, but she doesn’t want one on her birthday, does that mean anything? ---

I hope this isn’t too late, and I just wish to hell my wife would do this kind of thing. If the BJ isn’t reserved for just special occassions, make it a special one. I’m not your typical guy, **Indygrrl** , so this is mostly moot, but: A night alone where anything worn would not be difficult to remove. No distractions. Maybe a sheet or something. Nice, comfy bed. No alcohol (I personally don’t care for it … hate the taste). Don’t much like cake either, and BJs don’t get it for for me. This may be my most pointless post in a while. The question isn’t “What do men want” but “what does my man want?” and it appears you’ve already answered that question:) You’ll of course provide us with an update:D ---

Thanks, guys. Ok, the night went very well. I made a devil’s food cake, cleaned the apartment really well, lit a bunch of “sensual” scented candles, and greeted him in a very sexy nightie. I turned out all the lights and poured two glasses of wine. When he got there he was surprised and very smiley. We sat on the couch for a minute and then started kissing, etc. At that point we took it into the bedroom. I put on Jeff Buckley, “Grace,” and gave him a rockin’ bj, which put a big smile on his face, then he did me, and then we had sex in various positions. It was fabulous. **Indygrrl** my birthday was last Saturday. Had dinner out with my family, except the kids were at in-laws. Shared a pretty good bottle of wine. Got matching t-shirts for my 3yo son and me from my mother which is quite cute. Left the restaraunt, picked up the kids went home put them to bed and…fell asleep on the couch. If I say I hate your boyfriend, I really don’t mean it. It’s just ugly green envy. \ ---
