Sorry, I was probably being too picky. You got it @El_Famous_Burrito. These words are in the opening of the Declaration of Independence but not in the US Constitution, along with **Bands, Earth, Facts, Forms, Has, Light, Seem, Shewn, Throw, Train** , and **World** to list the 5-letters-and-under words. ---

The solution is not related to rivers, but I will tell you that, among the places you guessed: **Germany** is represented somewhere in this list: - adore - arse - karat - linger - resin - sargent - stroma - taco - tonne And **Oregon** is represented somewhere in this list: - awash - bias - dill - gel - more - stint - tonne - verde None of Ethiopia, India, Pennsylvania, California, Japan, or Arizona are represented in my lists. I did notice there is a city in Germany named [Nottertal-Hei **linger** Höhen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nottertal-Heilinger_H%C3%B6hen) But I _do not_ know geography that well to come up with cities for all those freaking words.
