Everyone has likes and dislikes. Some things I might dislike doesn’t necessarily mean a person is ugly. Almost everyone has the potential to look good or presentable with a little grooming, same way with women. ---

One thing I really don’t get here is the body hair thing. Some guys are not hairy, some are moderately hairy, and some are very, very hairy, but, um, by the time he takes his shirt off I’ve already passed the point where it matters. (Unlike the teeth thing.) ---

[/QUOTE] Veneers are pretty expensive but they do look amazing. Even bonding which is a lot less money will give good results for a lot less. Look into a dental school. You can get it done there for a fraction of the price. ---

Features that are unattractive on one person can be attractive on another, IMO. And just about everyone has something attractive about him or her. Generally it’s personality traits that I find unappealing in men, rather than looks. I like men who are confident, intelligent, compassionate and funny. ---

(Unlike the teeth thing.) [/QUOTE] That’s my experience too (as a pretty hairy guy). Once my shirt was off, it was time for the crazy sex, and the hair didn’t matter in the least. Hell, my fiance told me once (paraphrased): “You know… I always said I didn’t like back hair, and that it was gross, but to be honest, I kind of like it… it’s fun to run my fingers through and play with while we’re cuddling and making out.” So it’s not all one way or the other. And guys… the divide between the women who want thin, lanky types and the ones who want burly bear types is about 50-50. I’m built very much like an NFL offensive lineman, only about 4 inches shorter than the average, and you would probably be surprised at the level of female interest I used to get. Unfortunately, I was pretty damned clueless, but the interest was definitely there. ---

I have to say, all you ladies who are turned off by back hair don’t know what you’re missing. Back hair is fucking awesome. You’d rather touch bare skin? Really? I used to be attracted to the body-hairless, and then I met my husband. He’s hairy. He’s also warm on cold nights. His chest, it’s like a bearskin rug! Sooo nice. 😃 Cuddly. ---

If you’re a fan, you should be happy, since that leaves more of your favorite guys for you. I think y’all missed the line about not wanting to date someone that reminded too strongly of dear old dad. For me, that also pretty much sorts out men shorter than me and men who are bald with a fringe. I love my dad, but contrary to what Freud thought, I don’t want to date/sleep with someone like him. Just about any other physical attribute is up for discussion since, as many others have said in this thread, an attractive personality can trump a lot of physical preferences. ---

Speaking as a guy who sees his hair is moving from brown to clear - might I inform you ladies that sometimes, we can’t help some for of combover! My hair has been trained to grow in a certain way since I was 14. I also have a head shape that is not conducive to shaving all the hair off. So, I have thinning with combover. It works for me now, but I see my father’s head and realize that eventually, I’ll have to either go Ron Popeil on it or dye it. ---

**Diana G** pretty much said what I came in to say. I dated a wide (physical) variety of men and the only thing they had in common, other than the Y chromosome and a decent command of English was good hygeine. Thin, fat, hairy, smooth, balding, flowing locks, pink, brown, tall short, and a lot in between. All were attractive to me (some pheremone at work?). Yes, even (gasp!) hairy backs! Beards! Untamed pubic hair! I guess I didn’t get a lot of specific imprinting when I was young and so never settled on a “type”. ---

Poor hygiene is about it for me, short of morbid obesity. I’ve been attracted to hairy, hairless, tall, short, thin, heavy, brunette, blond, red-haired, blue eyes, brown eyes, green eyes…Common factor in all was sense of human and a kind heart.
