I’m putting this here because the nature of the statements is Pit-ish, but I am hoping NOT to start any arguments. I’m looking for the things fellow Dopers firmly believe that they know they can’t normally defend without accusations of trollery or bigotry.\*\* I can’t control the thread, but if it were up to me, there would not be any arguing about these things, just stating them. \*\* 1. I don’t vote and I’m proud of it. 2. Circumcision is mutilation. 3. Sex with people who are at least 16 is not always wrong, though I wouldn’t do it myself. 4. Some forms of socialism are better than some forms of capitalism. 5. Women are better writers than men. 6. Men are better at giving directions than women. 7. Fat people are often sexy, and so are very skinny people. 8. Monotheism is more dangerous than polytheism. 9. Maybe the sun doesn’t 100% shine out of Israel’s ass, huh? 10. Or Palestine’s, but seriously. 11. Bush doesn’t matter and his puppetmasters love that you think he does. 12. Partisan politics are destroying this country, but I’m all for that. 13. Yeah, that’s right, I hate America. 14. No, I don’t think it’s better elsewhere, I just think we’re part of why. Your turn. ---

1. With rare glandular exceptions, fat people have only themselves to blame for their condition. 2. No-fault divorce is a major factor in a substantial number of the US’s problems today. 3. Not all cultures are equal. 4. No, your opinion on the subject is **not** equal to mine. I am trained in this area. You are not. 5. There should be more requirements for voting than just being over 18 and breathing. Lots more. ---

1. There should be more requirements for motherhood than the ability to spread your legs and get knocked up. 2. If he has children by more than one babymama, you and your spawn are going to be left on the side of the road just like they were. 3. It is not kindness to your cat to let in roam freely in an urban/suburban environment. 4. Neutering a dog (or cat) does not remove the testicles from a male owner. ---
