Cellophane, or “when the children are naughty we tape their mouths and lock them in the closet” tape.

Duct tape works much better for that application.

Is it actually branded ‘Cellotape’ anywhere in the world? The one I’m familiar with is called ‘ **S** ellotape’.

‘Cellotape’ would be the stuff you use for temporarily fixing stringed instruments.
