# What do you call your SO on the boards?

No, it’s a reference to Star Trek, there was some kind of test/simulation called the Kobayashi Maru mentioned in a Star Trek movie or two and a few episodes.

On the SDMB, I’ve always referred to her as **The Beloved**.
