I have 3 rings, about 17 keys (one ring for work, one ring for home, one for ‘other’ keys like my ex-BF’s car key and my friend I catsit for’s house key) and a Swiss Army knife. No tags, chains, or decorations ---

key ring for work has work ring and a red clip on it (carry that on my purse) keyring for home has 3 house keys, all the same, not one opens the side door, which is what i actually need…a heart shaped rubber keychain, a winn-dixie rewards card, and a heavy pewter watering can keyring that has a bouquet of lavender on it. that was given to me as a goodbye gift from Lisle, one of the therapists at my old job… ---

Just keys on a carbiner. 2 house keys, car fob, mail key. Anything else I’ve ever tried to put on there gets broken or lost in my purse. Whoops, forgot: also have two chits on there with my name on them for work. Ostensibly one gives them in exchange for anything borrowed from another department, or for anything that is under watch/guard \, but in reality they’re just like little dog tags for me. I just got my RIF, my last day’s in February, and I’m kinda hoping they don’t ask for them back. 😛 Aww hell, I’m taking one off. They can have ONE back. I’ll keep one just for…chits and giggles. ---

Three keys for the house, a fathead key with remote built in for the truck, a plain key and separate remote for the car, and a crapload of store tags. None of those loyalty programs know who I am, nor do they have my address or phone. Could be worse. Just today, we were poking fun at my sister’s keys. She’s got house keys, keys for her two vehicles, office, boat, and seemingly one key for every fire truck in the county. (She’s a firefighter.) Add to that, a bunch of store tags, her fire check-in ID tag, and it’s all corralled on a huge carabiner. Probably two pounds of stuff in one non-pocket-sized lump. ---

Do some of you have a purse to carry your keys round in? I only have one key. To increase its bulk a bit so I don’t lose it, I have a tiny little metal crucifix with “ROMA” carved on it that my girlfriend gave me. Thus it fits perfectly in the condom pocket in my jeans. I did have my online banking security device hooked to it as well, but a few weeks ago I sat on it and fucked it up, so now I can’t access online banking and have to wait several weeks to get a new one shipped from the UK, so I won’t do that again. ---

Not much, actually. Two ‘Nanowrimo’ decorative key fobs, a mini foldable 4gig flash drive, and a plastic hook so that I could attach another flash drive to the ring, which I haven’t used in a while. Actually, I never use the 4gig either, mostly because it’s awkward to plug a keyring into a computer. ---

Rubber sushi, automatic car door opener/lock, my Panera card, my Kroger card, and a dangle of metal cherries from Traverse City. Oh! And the most important of all, it’s all attatched to a big momoshiba/beandog keychain. He’s large enough that the keys never sink to the bottom of my purse or bookbag anymore, all I have to do is look for the doggy! 🙂 All this for three keys. ---
