I’m astonished that nobody has mentioned [Exile on Main Street - Rolling Stones](http://www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/500-greatest-albums-of-all-time-20120531/the-rolling-stones-exile-on-main-street-20120524) It is a stunning achievement and incredibly influential. I’m not a guy to revel in nostalgia, but it is an incredible album. More modern favorites include: Beck - Odelay Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit Daft Punk - Homework Jay Z - Black Album Dixie Chicks - Fly Green Day - American Idiot Something by Madona Massive Attack - Blue Lines National - Boxer (Maybe not one of the greatest of all time, but probably MY favorite of all time - right now) Oasis - Be Here Now PSY - Gangham Style (Maybe not yet, but could be the first of a J-Pop/K-Pop invasion) ---

It’s probably my favourite of his albums, released in 1996. In some ways it’s got a similar feel to _Redheaded Stranger_, but I prefer the songs. Oh, and to answer the OP, _Darkness On The Edge Of Town_ by Springsteen is the best album ever made. ---
