Of course, the thought just occurred to me that one way to avoid getting skidmarks on your undies is to simply not wear any… :eek: ---

Wipe thoroughly. OK, nothing is ever perfect, so: Wear boxer shorts = no part of the fabric typically touches anything residually dirty (because my anus disappears between my bum cheeks when I stand up). Dark coloured boxer shorts anyway. ---

If I don’t have time to shower after BM, I use a little water on a tissue. Water on TP doesn’t work, it shreds when wet. ---

In most homes, toilets are next to the sink. Therefore, toilet paper wads dribbled with water, wipe until clean. In public stalls, I usually spit in the wad before wiping. Less effective, but any port in a storm. ---
