I keep finding that there isn’t much of a standard for my desires. I can’t say that I really like one thing or another, because I get soooo into different things on different people. Sometimes it’s obvious, sometimes it’s really quirky. I am happy that way, because when I find that I’m attracted to someone, it’s a nice surprise! My husband is funny as hell. I guess that’s really the only constant for what gets my attention in people. I like to laugh with reckless abandon… ---

I haven’t looked at the other thread because I’m wary of the damage to my fragile self-esteem, but, I assumed it’s aimed at the guys because they’re visual like that. We women, on the other hand, look within because we’re _deep!_ 🙂 Seriously, I’m more attracted to someone I “match” on a looks level, which is to say “mediocre”. (Therefore, Alan Rickman, because he is so much older than I, and has wrinkles and whatnot, should send me a proposal of marriage forthwith, which I accept!) ---

Uh, let’s see - brown/olive skin, taller than 5’5", no flab/blubber (slender is best), no long hair (even on young guys), I love big hands and big feet, big dicks are nice, especially if you can see his package bulging in his pants as he’s walking your way, muscles are unimportant. No attitude, please. But it’s amazing all those who I’ve considered dating (kind of scary)… ---

By this point I’ve narrowed my criteria to a heartbeat and a penis. A head would be nice, though. Honestly, though, I didn’t find the other thread offensive… ::shrug:: you like what you like, and as long as you don’t look down on other people or treat them badly because they don’t fit your physical ideal, I have no problem. ---

Nice eyes, BIG, strong shoulders, chest, and arms. It’s okay if he’s not some six footer, and I don’t care if he’s chunky, but…absolutely NO Skinny Men (UGH, in my experience, every skinny guy I’ve known has been meaner than a snake)!!! Brown hair and eyes are nice, but other than the big strong shoulders etc, I don’t have any preferences as to looks. After all, personality is what makes the look. ---

I actually found the other thread quite reassuring, because of the huge variety of “attractive” features described. Kinda like, no matter what you look like, someone out there will think you’re beautiful. Also, none of posters went for the huge-boobed Barbie-type that Playboy/Page 3 keep telling us men want. Plus quite a few lesbians have posted there, so it’s not just a male thing. Personally, none of the guys I’ve been into have looked anything alike, so I don’t think I have a physical type (apart from “tall”. But I’m 5"8, so they need to be). But when I see a guy I like, it’s a bit like a bolt of lightening going off in my brain - I suppose it’s what you’d call chemistry.
