The back side of those huge fans they put up in factories and such to circulate air. I was scared to death as a kid that I’d get sucked into one and I’m stil lspooky around 'em. ---

Animals with congenital deformities. Like the turtles with multiple heads or the kitten and pig with 1.5 faces. Or those frogs with too many legs or other body parts. Or conjoined animals (I’m ok with humans though). No, I am not going to link to photos; I’d have to look at them. ---

Babies. They’re like people, except they’re gross and wrinkly. But not old-people wrinkly, which is not creepy. Unless they’re really, really wrinkly. In which case, maybe, but still not as creepy as babies. Plus, they’re stupid. ---

I’m not creeped out by millipedes (I like to step on them and hear them pop), and spiders don’t bother me, but a house centipede can send me screaming from the room. ---

Long fingernails on men. Urgh. If you’re a guy, and your nails extend over the tip of your fingers, stay the hell away from me. And for God’s sake, DON’T TRY TO SHAKE MY HAND!! ---

Public swimming pools. There’s… _people germs_ in there. Especially outdoor public swimming pools. Not only do you get uncountable numbers of _people germs,_ there’s the possibility of paddling directly into a half-drowned bee. ---

The word “smooth” just seems wrong to me. Especially written in all-caps: SMOOTH. It just looks wrong. My Advanced Calculus prof writes in caps, and every time he writes that word on the board, I shudder. ---

Freshwater beaches (like on lakes and rivers and such). Somehow unnatural and icky. The Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood. Ech. And to add to lotus pods, lotus root. Every time I walk into an Asian grocery that’s the one thing that makes me shudder. Crochet/knitted yarn hats. Ech. ---

You laugh, but this exact scenario happened to me when I was younger. There I was, eating my restaurant food. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so I guess the owner felt the need to come behind me and start massaging my earlobes. 😕 That was incredibly weird. Needless to say, I never went back to that place. ---

I didn’t realize the video I linked to would cause such a stir. I just remembered another one. People who click their teeth when they chew. I know they probably have to because of tooth problems so I feel kinda guilty about it as well. It’s barely audible but I have to excuse myself from the table when I hear it.
