Nah, I like aspirin, too. Of course, I’m also fond of the taste of vinegar, which seems quite similar to me. I actually made a point of getting a bottle of uncoated aspirin for my own use.

Have you considered a career with the United States Marine Corps? Just checking.

I love laying on the narrow part of the footboard of our bed so that the narrow wooden top rail part is right along my spine. I look like a loon when I do it, but I love that feeling on my back.

I envy people who feel good _during_ excercise. Anyone can feel good afer it, but to feel good while you’re doing it is truly lucky.

For me the exertion and exhaustion is most definitely an unpleasant feeling

Are they desperate enough to take a middle-aged woman and work a lot of weight off her? Can I take my little kids along? Are there chilly pockets in the Middle East?

La la la back to my fantasy land.

Lemon juice - just squeezed, yum 🙂
The smell of road tar as well. Also tobacco, that smell is wonderful, as an ex smoker I know I shouldn’t like it but I do.

I’m a vaguely hairy guy, so any time I get near fire, I’m gonna lose some of it. I’ve toasted my hair so many times that I now enjoy the smell of burning hair.

I offer myself as a counterpoint to the like being cold people. I like **hot** weather. I don’t even mind if it’s fairly humid too. People complain about it being “too hot.” I don’t believe in too hot. It’s a bit too warm aproximately three days a year, and the rest of the summer is to love.

Far more weirdly, there’s a strange sort of mildly good feeling to chest congestion. It seems that it should feel terrible, but it doesn’t always.

I kind of enjoy the woozy feeling I get just on the outset of a terrible bout of flu.

> I know exactly what you mean. Kind of a numby-tingly thing you can massage, or in the case of your ankle, roll around and feel different funny things in the joint. I think that’s a leftover thing from teething.

Stretching a sore muscle is fun too. It provides its own unique pain that feels like you’re wringing the soreness out.

I dig severe weather too. There’s nothing quite like hearing the severe weather alert go off, and then stepping outside to guess at how nasty it’s gonna be. Blizzards are sweet too, especially when it’s around Christmas and you can watch the Christmas lights get tossed around in the wind.

When I was younger I loved dark November afternoons when it was near or below freezing and all the trees were bare, but there wasn’t any snow yet. I’d rarely see anyone else outside, and it felt like I was getting to have one last look around the neighborhood before the snow came and “closed” everything down until spring. The bitter-ass cold isn’t as much fun as I get older, though.

I love the smell of paint; it always puts me in a good mood (insert joke about fumes). And I’m another non-smoker who likes the smell of cigarettes.

Popping a zit! Fun, satisfying, and AWESOME when it actually makes noise!

You’d be a bit more out there if you professed a liking for popping other people’s zits.

Hold still, let me get that for you . . .

There is also getting somebody to work on a muscle spasm; I tend to get them in my shoulders and upper back and occasionally have asked friends or family to massage them to get them to go away. It hurts like hell, but at the same time, it’s sort of good. “OUCH! No, no, don’t stop…it’s _supposed_ to hurt!”

I think it’s because it’s productive. A combination of a lot of icing and somebody who is willing to use enough pressure really gets those bastards to go away.

And on the subject of zits, I had a fiance who once apologized for accidentally leaning against a wall and popping a zit he’d been saving for me. Some things he was totally clueless about, but he was more than willing to indulge my zit-popping efforts.

I like how it feels when you’re wearing a heavy lead apron when lying down, like at the dentist when they do an x-ray. The slight heaviness and relaxing into the chair is just really comforting to me. Recently I read that autistic children enjoy using weighted blankets. I’m sure I’m not autistic at all, but now I’m a little tempted to buy one of those blankets.

I’ve come to discover that I kind of like emergency situations. Not the fact that someone is hurt and bleeding, but the pressure of knowing that the split second decisions I am making right there are actually important in the grand scheme.

I guess you can say that I kind of like being under pressure. It has to be immediate pressure, though, not the looming “pay this bill or in 3 months you might lose your house” pressure or “I think my little sister is dating the wrong type of guys” pressure.
