**FireUnderpantsBoobs** , just two quick things. 1. I really was kidding but my sarcasm didn’t come through because, well I screwed up. 2. I’ve been on the board a lot longer than just a year. I had a different name. I was on it over at AOL. Not that I think that it proves intelligence or anything- just wanted to clear that up. To put my own part of this at rest, I will say it clearly. Sweet Walter - newbie by day. But by night well, a newbie then also. Not even distantly related, neither in spirit nor in blood to WallyM7, he was just a role model. I shall remain a newbie till the Great Cecil himself comes down from on high and anoits me with the Holy Oil of the Wise Ass™. I promise to read first, post second. I promise to not open any old threads, it was a discusion at a party I missed. If I have a question or want to start a thread I will reasearch said subject. I AM concerned about the bandwidth that would be consumed by the flame pouring down. I will not flirt with … (what the hell am I saying?) I will not pick a fight with Cervase or Scylla or (insert Pit champ name here) I will always encourage red headed women to stay that way. This is my nebie creed, so help me Wally. This is the thread I most wish I could have taken back. **Redboss** started an entire Pit thread about this one. After I posted, the thread nearly died. It always bothered me that no one(almost) acknowledged what I said there. I guess people liked the idea of making me evil more than the reality. I can understand. Man was I shocked about how pissed off people were about this thread. I’ve been on this message board since 1998 and I don’t think I’ve ever sparked a firestorm like this. It was always just supposed to be a joke(it started in MPSIMS, not the Pit) and then everybody got offended. In the end, this thread and the **Redboss** one made me a better poster. I used to come down hard on people who made mistakes and did other things that annoyed me, but now I am more careful about people’s emotions. Sure, I wish the whole thing never happened, but I don’t here much about it so I can live with it. Seriously, though, you can’t imagine how shocked I was to see this thread again! 🙂 ---
