# What do you live by?

I live near a firehouse (7pm = RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! for about six seconds and then the spindown of the siren), there is a bar that looks like a house on my street (it closes at 10pm during the week, 12midnight on friday, 10pm on saturday and 8pm on sunday). I have a pizza joint at the end of my block, and a gas station too. Three minutes away (and on the way to work) I pass Rutger’s Cook Campus, which has a field of cows (I like cows). I also have a -ton- of asian groceries nearby, so that’s always cool. Across the street, I have a basketball court and a school field and then a school (it’s about a quarter mile straight across the field). In town (it’s small) I have a river of some sort and two other bars (all of them I’ve been to so far are bizarre white-trash or old alky bars, but I have not been to them all yet). Also, there are a bunch of old mills of some kind which are rather shitty looking and have some businesses in them now, but that’s about it.
