Oh, I guess that’s cause it was just **hedra** and I having lunch yesterday at the company Christmas luncheon. 😃 Seems she took notice of me 'cause of my UU posts, and her mother is a retired UU minister, so she dropped me a line from work. I, of course, noticed something unusual about her domain - namely, that it was the same company as mine! Turns out I work on the second floor, she works on the lower level, so it seemed only appropriate for us to meet. So, she’s the first Doper I’ve met, and I’m the first she’s met, and she has the singular distinction (if you can call it that) of not only being the first Doper to meet the **Gay Guy** , but of probably the only one from Philadelphia and the east coast who’ll ever meet me, and that I’ll ever meet as well (since, of course, there’ll be a San Diego and/or southern California Dopefest once I get there in honor of my arrival in, oh, 14 days). She’s a fab babe and needs to post more. Beautiful kid, handsome husband who’s a Quaker, Scottish highland dancer, UU, used to live in Colorado, etc. And since her husband (whose screen name escapes me) also posts here but is even quieter than she is, I’m encouraging him to speak as well (or at least say hello to me, durn it). tsk, tsk… that’s Scottish **Country** Dancer, dear. Though we’ve both done a bit of highland, it isn’t the same… And thanks for the babe comment. Right back atcha. Nice eyes. Well heck! You mean there really are dopers in Philly? Not that I live there, but I’m a mere hour and change from William Penn himself. Figured there was a derth of dopers in Philadelphia. And now one of the two known existing dopers is leaving. Dugunnit! Perhaps another fest one day, yes? Dave ---

Well tecnically, since **epeepunk** is my husband, **and** we are both in the same house… that makes TWO (still) in the Philly area. Plus you, uberDave, makes three… And actually, we live about an hour from Philly, too - which direction ‘away’ are you? We’re in DE. ---

Hi **Esprix** , it is I, **epeepunk** , husband of **hedra**. And I agree, she is a “fab babe”. And technically we are Newark DE dopers, although I spend some time in Philly where I attend Drexel University in the evening to become an architect. For the record, although she has more posts than I do, I introduced her to the SD. And I regret it every day 😉 ---

I’m in Berks Co. **very** near Bear Creek Ski and Rec Area. (Formerly Doe Mountain). But I’m a native Delawarean and my Mom still leaves just north of Wilmington. Thus, there are regular trips into DE. Just glad to know I’m not the only one out there. **Pandora** hi neighbor! Dave ---

I too, live in Philly. Alternates oddly between NE Philly and Delaware County. I am always an hour or less from South Street. Do I smell an impending Dopefest? _Snuff snuuff_ jb ---

I’m sure the Philly Dopers are as eager to meet **Anniz** as my present locals around DC are. So, how about something lunchtime-ish on the 27th of January? She and I are going to be up for a concert that night, and with all luck, we can sit around talking about the Eagles chances in the Super Bowl the next day. 😃 ---

Let’s meet somewhere where **Anniz** can try Philadelphia’s contribution to world cuisine, the cheesesteak.
