Things I miss about Kentucky: Cardinal birds Fireflies Creeks that had water in them Mountains that had trees and oxygen at the top Spooky Romanesque-style Victorian houses that seemed to be watching you as you walked by Grass Things I don’t miss: The weather, the good ol’ boy political network ---

Gotta go up to the 'nince to find good pizza. And there’s a new Italian beef sandwich joint up at The Plant, at Tully and Monterey Road in San Jose. Couldn’t tell you if it compares favorably, though. ---
