Basically I just wanted to get a thread in on the first page of this new forum!

**But** , I was wondering also what everyone uses in your hair. I just went from not using anything at all, to using Royal Crown and then Murray’s which I like even better. Since I got my hairs cut shorter, I have a Jerry Lee Lewis do. I know he uses Crown Royal also. What about YOU?

Shampoo: Aussie Moist.

Conditioner: Aussie Three Minute Miracle (I know it’s a deep conditioner but I have horrible hair).

Now that my hair’s long enough to put in a stubby ponytail, but not long enough to look good hanging on its own, I either tie it up without any gunk or I put some silicone (Zero Frizz serum) or pomade (Joico Brilliantine) in it if it’s frizzy. That’s my routine recently. I change it a lot, though, depending on the weather and the increasing length of my hair. I used to use the strongest Dippity-Do gel, but I haven’t touched the stuff for a while, and I have a bunch of nearly full bottles of various products I’ve tried and abandoned.

oh Lord do I have hair goo. I have hair goo galore.

Shampoo: Sebastian Laminates but I use Aveda Sap Moss once a week

Conditioner: Sebastian Laminates with a V05 Hot Oil treatment about once every 2 weeks.

Goo: These four I use pretty much every day:

Sebastian Laminates Gel
Aveda Self-Control Styling Stick
Thermasilk Hair Spray
Spay N Shine Glossing Spray

Then I have the other crap: For curly days: Physique Curling Creme and Spray
Sebastian Molding Mud
Thermasilk Gel
Citre Shine Frizz Serum
Studio Springing Curls Mousse

And at least five or six other various gels/pomades/etc.

Most of the time I fill my hair with goo and then put a handkerchief over it. Go figure.

Lard or crisco, which ever is cheaper at the store.

I use:

Shampoo, and conditioner - whatever ma and pa buy, but right now it is: Kirkland. Both for the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is in such good condition it doesnt really matter what I use _gloat_

Gel - 21 hr hold Vital Care. It’s this nifty purple color. I dont use much, just enough to keep my hair down. It’s so fully and thick it gets poofy, and goofy looking if I dont put gel in it.

Shampoo and Conditioner: Pert or whatever’s cheap. Never seems to matter. Unless I have my hair bleached, then I use blue Nexus shampoo called Simply Silver, or something like that.

Depending on the look I want, I normally use a combination of the following:

Aussie Sprunch Spray
TIGI Molding Gel
Dep Texturizing Gel (ultimate hold)
TIGI Bed Head Hair Stick (Wax)

My hair was pretty short there for a while, so it didn’t matter too much, but now I’m growing it out a bit and will probably either bleach again or foil to add some chunky highlights.

Wow, I guess you guys never tried sugar and water! Toss a couple of teaspoons of sugar into half cup of water and stir. Looks shiny, stays in place and doesn’t attract cats, dogs or ants. Give up that greasy kid stuff.

Nothing but Freeman’s Botanicals Shampoo.

I have waist length hair, so it must be doing
something good.

I use this stuff called Blue Magic. I was tired of spending \>$4 on Brylcreme and found this stuff in a 12 ounce jar for $1.69. It works way better, and lasts longer than the stuff that costs 4 or 5 times as much.

I always use Pert Plus (or, didn’t they change the name to “Pert?”) and nothing else. My hair is short, and the style I have doesn’t ever need managing. Just brush and go.

I have waist-length hair and I never use styling products. To me a blow dryer is a source of evil. I wash and condition it every other day and just let it dry naturally. I usually wear it back, which doesn’t require any gels, creams, sprays, foams or other gook. Of course, it is due to my ineptitude with such products that I have evolved my current hairstyle . . .

I pride myself in being an expert of the hair.
And as an expert of the hair, I know that what is best after a long day of plowing the fields or doing Calculus, is a nice jar of Mayonnaise.
Yeah, okay, so once you got your Mayo. You put on your 100% snakeskin gloves, and grab a big glob of it. Rub it on your hair in a clockwise motion eighty-two times. By then, your hair should look kind of like, well, I can’t describe it other than a big bowl of beautiful.
That’s not all though. Then you take a little mustard, not too much, just a bit. Spicy, depending on your taste. Squirt it onto the crown of your head in the shape of a smiley face.
Now, make your way to the sandwich meats section and grab you some ham. Put it on top of all that, be careful not to squish the mustard smile.
Let that sit for a minute, and then grab a piece of whole wheat bread. Why whole wheat? The grain is great for split ends, and lord knows you has 'em, gurl.
Now, get in your car or on your bike and drive to the nearest restaurant. Find a man looking to be about forty-five with no hair and get him to eat all of this off of your head.
Let the remains of it bake on your head in the hot afternoon sun, and then brush your hair.
It should be about eighteen times softer, lacking in split ends, and smelling good enough to eat.

A twelve-year-old zombie for a twelve-year-old’s joke?

OK, the “twelve-year-old” part was just poetic license. It’s really more appropriate for six.

_Again?_ At least it was only 17 posts instead of three pages before I caught on. And then only because **Nametag** said it.

And I don’t put anything in/on/around my hair!
Gah.
