I’ve always liked these. I think they’re destined to be collectible someday.
A time to fly, a time to camp…
We sold our 1975 Warrior and bought a 2009 airstream (note not an even up trade )
The flying was great, but not great for seeing the usa. Flying was fun, but it seemed that everytime we flew in the midwest we met weather coming or going. And when you fly someplace you have to hire a car to get anywhere and then stay in a hotel.
We are now on the road 6-9 months of the year back and forth across the country (grandkids need visiting:) ). We still pay attention to the weather, but it’s not nearly as much of a worry as it was with the plane. And when we stop for the night our mattress in the camper is the same one we have at home. We can always stop for a sandwich half way to our destination. And have a campfire when we get there.
Flying is good and camping is good. It just depends on where you are on your destination.
