I think a 14-year-old would love it. A grown woman, not so much… Sorry. I’m a female and that’s what I think. I would try to lose it rather than wear it.

There are at least two of us. I didn’t even know what image I hadn’t seen until this thread happened. Now I live in fear.
Even before I figured out how the OP might be a whoosh I wasn’t a fan of the ring. I was all set to articulate what message I thought it sent…

It seems to be a [“Fenian” claddagh](http://www.irishcladdaghrings.com/information/fenian_claddagh_rings.htm), which was designed around the time of the founding of the Irish Republic.
(However, the original crown wasn’t to represent Britain, but the early Irish kings, at least according to [wiki](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claddagh_Ring).)
Quite honestly? I think it’s ugly. (This ring, not claddaghs in general)

When I saw it, the clenched fists retromanminded me of [Johnny Socko](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_Robo_%28tokusatsu%29) and [Ultraman](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraman). I kind of like it, it’s a bold design and I like the Gold and Silver Contrast. I don’t like the diamond bejeweled heart however… Might be better with a gray tarnish, pewter, or hematite flat or dull cast to the heart… inlaid with ruby and emerald chips.
