I got what I wanted. I bought a wide screen LCD TV for the whole family, and we’re already enjoying it. And I seem to have found love. That wouldn’t even have been on my list, for being too far-fetched, but there it is. Thank you, Santa. ---

Besides the unrealistic items (my wife’s abdominal wound healing, kids getting along, financial security, a BJ and family members that aren’t insensitive assholes), I’m hoping for gift cards from Home Depot or some such place so I can finish insulating the garage and basement and then drywall them. ---

That Calvin and Hobbes collection set, but it’s kind of expensive and I don’t really need it. A pomegranate that isn’t all mushed up by the time it gets to Iowa would be nice in my stocking. I don’t know if I’m going to celebrate by doing anything except drinking my year old Jones Soda holiday pack and eating an entire advent calendar. Maybe I’ll get a bottle of bourbon. ---

I did my 90% own shopping this year (on someone else’s dime) so I’ll have pretty much all of the material things I wanted. Of course, that means fewer surprises, which can be good and bad. The list included- Gloves Socks Gaiters Winter hat Snowshoes Homicide LotS boxed set ---
