If stumbleupon ever becomes an app, I’ll never get anything done…
One word: Hulu
What time the CEO has lunch, when s/he has the least amount of other people around, his/her greatest fears, embarrassing photos of him/her (if any), a complete floorplan…
what?
Supposedly it was a hoax , but it was a really good idea for the desktop. Have a simulated Iphone and be able to move icons around on the computer and then sync to the device, instead of being forced to drag apps all over here and yon.

Looks like someone is looking forward to the new season of Leverage
This.
I’d also like to know why I can’t send and receive faxes, and send a file to print, on my iPhone.
I’d also LOVE to be able to wirelessly sync. As soon as my phone recognizes my home network, it should sync.
The first complaint has been true of all pda’s since they mated a phone with the units, I personally think its been a legacy issue with the phone companies that wanted people to do this sort of thing with email, thus incur data charges.
Simply put with the iPhone however its a matter of user permissions, until either apple gives the customer root access to the phone , no one can code an app for it, and I dont think the developers want to bother with older technology that might be a fringe market at best.
I think , on the second point , the iPhone will be able to do this when 3.0 comes out, at least with bluetooth.

Can’t you put a bookmark to IMDB on the iPhone’s main screen? That’s what I do for some places on my iPod Touch. That way I just touch the icon and it goes straight to the website. I do agree an app would work faster, but that would work if there was nothing else.
Mobile Me will keep you synced wirelessly between your iPhone, your MobileMe account, and any computer with your mobile me credentials entered. It won’t sync pictures or music but numbers and e-mail and appointments and notes, etc. Pretty instantaneous.
A friend of a friend is writing an iPhone app whose purpose is to use the motion sensors to detect when the iPhone is in free fall, then measure how long it is in free fall, and then it submits that data to a central location, so you basically have a worldwide “how high in the air can I throw my iPhone and catch it without it breaking” competition.
Password Safe, it sucks not being able to log in to anything on my wife’s iPod touch because I don’t even know my passwords.
I just realized what a pain in the ass feature thats not available, but should be. I can tap the top of safari and it will bring me to the very top of a webpage. But if I wanted to go down, say to the bottom of a long ass dope thread, sorry we got nothing.
How hard could that be

And the Refresh control, the one that’s in the address bar, ought to be in the toolbar at the bottom of the Safari screen, where the other controls are.
I wish there was an app for several of the BB’s I frequent.
Ask them , their pages will still safari , but there is a mobile redirect add on to many software packages so that you can view the pages better.

You know what I hate? Website that have an iPhone-friendly version that doesn’t have all the features of the original site… and which won’t let you switch back to the regular site to access those missing features.
I wonder if the SDMB would do this. It would help a lot. I suppose the answer would be no, though.
I want my iPhone to sync with my PVR. Someone at the office will say “Hey, something cool on TV this week” and by the time I get home, I’ve forgotten all about, and I don’t set it to record.
Sure, I could live with the pain, I could use a Post-It note, but what is the point of all I spend on technology just to wind up with a sticky note in the end.
A laser rangefinder/GPS target designator.
<pan out to shot of orbital missle battery pivoting in place and stopping>
Did I have 1 minute of battery left, or none…so ask yourself something punk, do you feel lucky?
