The most common meaning given for my first name is “the date palm,” although I’ve seen other sources define it as “perfection” or “beautiful.” My middle name means “a meadow,” although a lot of name books define it as “a sheltered spot.” **Smartini** , you could even have been PrincessPreciousRoseRed. Or PwincessPweciousWoseWed, even. But then **Eve** would probably bludgeon you with her lorgnette. 🙂 ---

My user name, Kythereia, means “lady of Kythera”, according to a legend that the goddess Aphrodite washed up from the sea on the shores of the island Kythera. My first name comes from Latin and means “downy-haired”–hah, I’m a brunette! My middle name comes from Irish Gaelic and means “wise one” (I doubt it :)) and the name of a river. Not bad, I suppose. 😉 ---

“Wise and Mighty Ruler” “Mercy Killer” Ok so the last name only is one possible translation. It’s actually derived from “Iron Worker” but with many changes. ---

First Name: Dark Beautiful One (hah! if only) Middle Name: My middle name is my maiden name and means Fire Last Name: Flute So I guess I’m a dark, beautiful fiery flute player? Or maybe I used to be a dark, beautiful person, then started playing the flute, which burst into flames. So now I’m just dark. Or not. I’m pretty pale. Man, someone screwed up. ---

First name: “Manly” Middle name: Just googling it up now I’m finding “Little king,” or “Little leader.” When I’ve looked it up before (a couple years ago), it came up with “bear.” I like “Manly Bear” better than “Manly little king.” ---
