I’m reminded of when Ramona Quimby (can’t remember which book) gave her neighbor Willa Jean a box of kleenex and she did just that.
All the individual suggestions I’ve seen here were for things that some of the kids I know really liked at that age.
My own kid, the only gift he actually appreciated was a set of nesting cups. (And the cardboard boxes)
