Seriously, there are those who claim that Cecil Adams _doesn’t exist_ :eek:
Some spoilsport dug up a trademark registration that says as much.
The public face of Cecil appears to be his, ahem, editor, [Ed Zotti](http://www.ipass.net/whitetho/edcecil.htm). Linky got pictures!

In age, the assumption is that he was born between 1946 and 1952, due to the starting date of the column publication and references to his life within the columns.

Well, Cecil has a tatoo of the Chicago Fire on one knee (he works there), and he has a tatoo of the devil on the other knee.
And when he crosses his legs, he looks like hell.
