As many of you probably already know, CSICOP (i.e., Committee for the Scientific Investigation of the Paranormal) is an organization of skeptical scientists. And perhaps persuant to this, they have [this](http://www.csicop.org/chain/) website to break people of their habit of bugging others with superstitious chain letters. They tell you, if you must send a chain letter to someone, don’t bother some poor stranger with it. Send it to them. And they even provide you with a postal address [here](http://www.csicop.org/chain/postal.html) and an online method [here](http://www.csicop.org/chain/form.html). When you send it via the online method, they claim to send it to 10 mail boxes. My only question is this: what on earth does CSICOP do with the chain letters you send them? They are a skeptical group of scientists after all. Do they just laugh and discard it? Or do they do something else with it? Someone please tell me if you know, because I have always wondered this. 🙂 ---
