Jeans: nothin’. The day that I find a pair of women’s jeans that both fit nicely (e.g., don’t give me more elephant-like hips than I already have) and have usable pockets is the day I reach nirvana. Jacket: one pen, accidentally stolen from work. Six pennies and one dime. A slightly-smooshed Hersheys’ Kiss (not anymore, actually). MP3 player. ---

A couple of old bus transfers, loose change, my wallet, scraps of paper with phone numbers on them (crud, I just remembered, I have to phone a bunch of people! _runs_), a pen, and… yeah, that’s it. I’m boring. ---

Left front: Diplomatic identification or “carnet”, credit cards, ID, Leatherman micra, Victorinox 512 meg Swissbit knife. Right front: 25 USD, 300 Peruvian soles (about 100 USD), Columbia River Knife and Tool M16-14LE. Watch pocket: Orange slim Zippo and Listerine breath strips, whcih my wife thinks are disgusting. Keys, change, phone, and bag with stainless steel D&D dice are in my jacket, which I really don’t need since the weather has been so nice the last week here. ---

All of you, except for \*\*Scarlett67 \*\* and \*\*Faruiza \*\* had best stay away from water. All of that stuff in your pockets will make you sink like rocks! If I’ve got 55¢ in change in one pocket and my wallet in another, I’m heavily loaded. No knives, flashlights, mace, keys or iPods. That’s what jacket pockets are for! ---

Right jeans pocket: cell phone Left jeans pocket: key card (to get in the building), key chain (to get in my room and my parents’ house). The key chain consists of a purple stretchy rubber coil on a ring, savings cards from two grocery stores, a lucite rectangle with my name on it, a thumb drive, a Libra keychain, a little canister of pepper spray, a leather key fob, and a tiny silver Maglite. ---

I’m in my fuzzy robe now, and the pockets are empty. My jacket has a glove in each pocket. When I got ready for bed last night, I had a little change in my right front jeans pocket. I’m not much of a pocket user. ---

My wallet, some spare change a “personal angel” silver coin that one of the nurses gave me when I was in the hospital, my car keys and sometimes a comb. At any given time any one of these may be missing from my pockets. ---
