Large items, like his cell phone, CDs, a note pad and pen, a lighter, cash, etc. My pants are way too tight to carry more than a little folding money and possibly a lighter, if I don’t plan on sitting for any length of time. My purse situation is making me a little crazy. I haven’t found the perfect purse yet, so I carry a mini purse inside a big purse. The mini holds wallet-type stuff, plus has a little velcro pocket for smokes and lighter or a cellphone, but not both. I carry the mini when I’m doing the shopping rounds in town. The big purse is more of a military bag, with two roomy pockets on the sides for glasses, cell phone, some make-up items, smokes, etc. The main cavernous area carries the little purse, paperwork that I pick up here and there, my camera, a water bottle, garbage that I accumulate throughout the day, and extra stuff if I’m doing a long day away from Kasa Kalhoun. I can even throw a shirt and umbrella in there if I think the weather might change. The big purse was purchased for our trip to DC and functioned quite well during our outings. However, it’s an ugly beast. My husband wants to comandeer it for his own Man Purse needs, which I will gladly do once I find the perfect purse. I’m very particular about them and I can take years searching for one that meets my needs. ---

I don’t have anything in my pants pockets, and it’s too early for coats. I carry the bare essentials in a small wallet with a key ring attached, and it gets held in my hand until I can throw it on my desk at work or at home. ---

RF - Keys and cell phone (in a nifty phone pocket-in-a-pocket, Puritan brand) LF - Billfold with license, CCs, bills (folded in half, face in, small bills outside), and a Sanford Uni-Ball Onyx Micro pen, plus any change I may have on me. Nothing in back pockets. BlackBerry on belt during the week. ---

The pocket holster keeps it in place and breaks up the outline. I wear a good belt, too, which keeps the weight of the gun from dragging my pants down. That, and my huge package pre-conditioned everybody so that they don’t notice a large bulge in my pants. ---

Knives and lint. Seriously, at the moment, nada. If I’m going to work, my keys and probably a USB thumbdrive or two. If I’m going to school, just my keys. If I’m going somewhere else, my keys, my wallet, and my phone. After school ends again and I switch to using my purse again, it’ll be nothing all the time. ---
