What does it take to view images on photobucket?

Sorry for asking this here, but photobucket.com’s Contact page is no help at all.

My question: Is that site using some sort of Windows-only technology to serve up photos? A lot of people here (and on other forums) are providing links to their photos on that site, but I haven’t gotten a single one to load in Safari on my Mac.

I can load various pages on the site without a problem. If I click on a link to a photo within the site itself, the photo’s page loads, but not the photo itself. If I click on a direct link posted here, I get nothing at all.

But nobody answered me. I’m leaning toward what arseNal said, about some links being to the mobile version of the site.
