# What does Mohammed (Jessica's rescuer) deserve?

Seriously though, I do qualify for American citizenship. I just don’t want it. I’ve lived in the US, as well as a few other countries, and I wouldn’t choose the US to be my domicile (nor Ireland either; it’s just a matter of time…). In all earnestness, and purely IMO, I don’t think that “instant american citizienship” should be seen as a grail.

[CNN’s reporting](http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/04/29/sprj.irq.lynch.asylum/index.html) that he’s been granted asylum in the US.
