# What does QED mean?

I’ve seen it around places, and I don’t know what it means. Enlighten me, please. (And isn’t there a Doper named QED?)

It is also the name of a short-lived [T.V. Show](http://www.tv.com/q.e.d./show/8719/summary.html), and the initials of the main character, Quentin E. Deverill.

Loved that show.
