In the movie “Love Potion #9” what is Sandra Bullock driving?

It’s Chevy candy apple red, has a Cavalier bumper, hood, interior, headlights, profile, etc, but has a ?Mitsubishi? looking grille?

Does anyone know what type of car this is?

I know Toyota markets the Cavalier in Japan as a Toyota Cavalier, but I doubt if they would import one just for this stupid movie…

Whatever it was, she got rid of it and started taking the bus.

Hmff. I’ve seen her in person. She’s cute, but rather short and scrawny.
