Having sex with a woman as opposed to just yourself … they both feel pretty much the same, except that when you do it with a woman, sooner or later you will have to take out the garbage. ---

**Meatros** , I have had a couple of occasions that I found myself in bed with a man, so I can even give a compare/contrast. 🙂 Hetero-- Not bad, very good for an exercise routine, I lost 5 lbs while I was being decently satisfied. However, I’m the kind of girl that loves cuddling after. Lesbian-- Very emotional, lots of foreplay, and afterplay and plenty of cuddling to make me happy. One might find a downside to it if you are on a different cycle than your partner but \ that has never stopped me. Sex without love is erotic, lacks intensity, but its a good warm and tingly feeling all over. Sex with love is better than anything on earth, even chocolate ice cream… and sex while in love with chocolate ice cream… well you might as well be in heaven. ---

Then again, to answer the O.P. It makes you feel sublimely human. It makes you humbled before the emotional and physical connection that you have created with someone else. It makes you hyperaware of every sense in your body. You can taste more, feel more, hear your pulse in your veins, smell life, see clarity and brilliance in the eyes of your lover. You can be safe and happy and silly and serious and coy and amused and relaxed. You can shed the outer layers and be You. It feels like a warm rush of otherworldly energy. It cannot be replaced by money, drugs, toys, anything. You will know it, one day. ---

**Cartooniverse** is so right. Sex while in love = all the unquantifiable things people here have tried to say. Sex for sex’s sake w/ a person you aren’t in love with, IMHO, isn’t worth it. ---

Ahh c’mon **Rhum** , you sure? You don’t have to be in love with someone to enjoy sex with them, speaking for myself. Sex is NOT worth it if it’s just bad sex. There is a difference I think. YYMV ---

physically: it’s having both bodies touching, skin-to-skin contact, and feeling that closeness, and intimacy, and having your penis in a special place that you just can’t belived feels so good, and having an powerful urge to start pumping your hips andpushing as hard as you can into that warm spot, thying to get deeper and closer and become one with this person you care deeply about for a least a profound moment in which you can’t tell where she stops and you start and your nerves are tingliing and you feel that you can feel her nerves tingling and stimulating and holding on to you and wanting you to move back and forth to increase that great feeling in your genitals and make things even more hot, frantic, urgent, and uncontrollable. Then you push really hard and hold on and feel your entire body shake and quake and shiver and your toes curl up and your back starts aching and you feel the shivers up and down your back and legs and neck and ears and scalp.
