That’s what I’m curious to hear about. Have you met some of your best friends here, or maybe your girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife? Have some people here helpt you with a big issue or a small one? Or something else? For me, I met **Montfort** here,:)🙂 as you might know. And that ment the whole world to me. My life was so boring and lonely before that, and I think it still would have been. Also this place often gives me a smile, because of all quick-witted and smart posts.:)🙂 (I don’t know if this has been done before, I surched on it, but couldn’t find anything, if so, maybe it could be done again?) ---

Yes, it’s been done before, but it’s always a nice topic! 😃 I’ve made a lot of friends here. Good friends. Knowing that I can come here and share the ups & downs of life, and knowing that I will always get support (or people pointing and laughing at me, if it’s warranted :D), means a lot to me. This place is more than a message board. It’s a community. I love it here. ---

Let me think . . . There’s the company I could not have written better. There’s the help I’ve gotten and given with schoolwork and life in general. Those late-night chat sessions and people to bitch with. There’s the SO I found . . . And there’s the other stuff I won’t mention here. ---

At first, it was a place to alleviate all-consuming boredom…then it became even more entertaining… I’ve made some friends here, even though I haven’t been here long or really “said” much here. There are people I admire. There are people that frighten me. 🙂 Well, I met my current SO here. I can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy about this place. ---

I have made quite a few close friends here, more like a family. This board is like a sympathetic diary. I feel comfortable sharing things here, or offering comfort to those who are feeling blue. I’ve learned a lot from reading anything from the general questions to the mundane and pointless. ---

It means a whole lot to me because I love all of you. I can get honest opinions from people, and advice or comfort if I need it. It’s somewhere to complain and bitch but also a great place to meet people, I’ve made a few friends that I hope I’ll know for a long time. I dunno I just love you all. Kitty ---

Originally I came here to help me with my apitite for triva and minutae. Over time it has slowly shifted to a place where I can hang out and watch interactions that I often find fascinating (And to be cynical, all to revealing about human nature.) I stay for several reasons, it is a place where I can keep my mind occupied and stave off terminal boredom or nervous breakdown, it is a retreat. It is also a place where I can contribute, where if I do contribute, it is because I decided to, rather than someone else grabbing me. ---

Originally, it was a place for me to come and be informed and entertained by intelligent people–I don’t get much intelligent interaction here at work! Now, it has developed in to something I could have never imagined. It is my refuge, it is my soap box, it is my own clique (yes, the whole thing, not jusy some certain posters!), it is what I do with most of my time. I have met many interesting people here. I have found several that I consider to be good friends and that I care about very deeply. I have even developed serious crushes on one or two! 😉 ---

Entertainment. Intelligent interaction. Meeting new people. Learning the answers to strange questions. Exercising my brain in areas outside of my daily routine. Good astronomy discussions. Pondering new questions and new points of view. Taking a break from work. ---

I think I should stop compleining for the time I have to wait for seeing **Montfort**. (Now it’s not so long time left though, just a little bit over 2 weeks).
