What does the U.S. get out of its alliance with Israel?

I am willing to believe that you honestly do not comprehend the fact that not only did I provide a cite to Bibi providing his view of a red line, but that you really were being honest when you claimed not to be aware that I posted it and I think I understand why even after I pointed out that I’d posted it, you still can’t find it. I accept that despite the fact that I explained why it is a red line and you weren’t actually able to address what I said, that it wasn’t because you chose not to address the actual discussion. I am willing to believe that you really do not get the fact that stating the specific circumstances under which military action would be authorized by the Israeli government is a red line, and the fact that it may be invoked “today” or “in two years” does not change that fact. I am willing to believe you that you will not be able to address what I’ve actually said or touch on the logic of my position and that you really do believe that you see “fallacies” inherent in my argument even though you can’t actually name a single one.

I now believe that you’re serious and not trying to mess with anybody.
But that also means that there really is no point in me trying to carry both sides of this debate any longer, or expecting that you’ll suddenly start engaging logically with what’s actually been said in this thread. I finally understand the reason why you cite other people’s writing and do not write your own arguments.

Sorry.

Oh snap! To bed w/out dinner I go.

All right. If you folks have gotten the bile out of your systems for the week, maybe this thread can move on.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE COMMENTS ABOUT ANY OTHER POSTER’S LOGIC OR PRESENTATION OR WHAT THEY “REALLY” MEANT.

If you believe you have a fact that contradicts an assertion, simply quote the assertion and post the fact, (with, if possible, a citation). Do not make any comments on the “error” of your opponent.

So what does the US get out of its alliance with Israel again?

On a related note, Shana Tova.
