# What does this blurry, almost too-small Russian sign say?

It’s been over a week, so that means it’s time for one of my impractical translation questions…that is, can anyone make out what [this Russian sign says?](http://media.englishrussia.com/newimages/nuclear030-49.jpg)

I’m just familiar enough with Cyrillic to make out “-бомба” in the last line of the headline, but not the rest of it, or anything from the main body of text below.

Frankly, I wouldn’t have great hopes on my deciphering it if it were in _English_, but what the heck—maybe I’ll catch a break, and someone else has a better eye for it than I do.

So…any ideas, anyone? Please?

I get “403 Forbidden”. Looks like the site disallows external linking. Plunking the URL into a new browser window gives me the pic.

I think it says Беспарашютная ударостойкая глубинная авиабомба, which would be something like Parashuteless impact-resistant deep aerial bomb.

Do as \*\*Sunspace \*\*suggested and copy the URL into a new browser window. But it’s a picture of a bomb with a blurry sign next to it.

I would say “aerial depth charge” but the “no-parachute impact-resistant” is correct. On the shell itself it says “Before hanging (I presume on an airplane) remove caps (or plugs/stoppers)”
