# What does TMI stand for?

Question in Subject line. I’ve never seen “TMI” used as a warning on any other forum.

TMI - Too Much Information.  
I’m not sure why it’s not more common on other boards. I guess we on the SDMB are more discreet and polite than elsewhere.

I’ve seen NSFW on other boards but that tends to refer to links.
