# What does today's Google Search Logo represent?

I can usually figure out Google’s ‘special’ graphics, but haven’t figured out todays.
Anyone with a good guess?

My thought was that they’re supposed to be maracas, representing Cinco De Mayo.

According to wiki’s article on [Koons](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Koons) :
He rendered a drawing similar to his famous “Tulip Balloons” for placement on the front page of the Internet search engine Google. The drawing greeted all who visited Google’s main page on April 30, 2008 (that day being Queen’s Day in the Netherlands).

Really? I came in here to complain that my iGoogle page doesn’t have any art on it. Have I been missing it all this time? I have to use iGoogle because [google.com](http://google.com) redirects me to some funny squiggly letters AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY MEAN!! Also, it says something about .jp.
Is there a way to get to [google.com](http://google.com) so I can see the art that occasionally pops up?

Ah! I couldn’t tell if they were tulips or lolipops. I guess balloons and the candy do sort of look alike.
