Unbelievable…I never thought I would be able to respond to someone asking this. I shall surely hateth myself come the dawn for sharing this… :smack: We were living in central British Columbia and we had to get rid of a beaver damn in a small lake… I’ll spare you the details. The tail is all fat…roll it in in foil with some rock salt and put it in the fire and it comes out tasting like, well, hot, salty fat. Sort of a cross between bacon cracklings and…um… crisco. The meat was more like eating dirty socks. Wasn’t a pleasant experience.
