Boofy bloke=a large-bodied, often hirsute, maybe-rugged adult male, esp. Australian (visual: Hagrid is boofy, Harry Potter is not). ---

Mine’s what was left off a friend’s T-shirt that was advertising his band, named after his mother’s Summer House. 🙂 (Yes, it was way back in the days of iron-on letters… and S-U-M had bitten the dust) The band’s gone, the house is gone, the friend’s a friend, the mother’s a friend, and the name lives on 😉 ---

I should clarify that my name doesn’t include the number in my nick. I also officially recommend that there be a new forum devoted to such sticky threads like “What does your user name mean?” , “Scalar Weapons” “The Doper’s LotR” and such.
