I started out as Wang-Ka out of sheer desperation. The board wouldn’t accept any of the names I usually use. I think “Wang-Ka” was about my ninth choice. Then I changed it to celebrate the pending end of four years of scholastic runaround and legislative crapola. Whee! ---

I got my name from the cartoon Daisy Duck and the one flower I’ve always loved. An old boyfriend that always commented that I had a nice behind…was watching a cartoon of Daizy Duck enticing Donald with her tail feathers. And the name stuck. Too much info? ---

A leader of heretics. I ran across the word in a story by Jorge Borges. It struck me as funny to think of heretics electing a leader, sitting through tedious committee meetings, getting bogged down by bureaucracy and paperwork, etc. I haven’t established or advocated any major heresies, so I’m not really living up to my nickname. ---
