I am not trendy-I like the styles of the 1940’s. Art Deco is also my style. I don’t drink bottled water-H2O from the tap is fine for me. I don’t “vacation” in popular places-I prefer boring places. I don’t eat “organic” foods-I like the standard stuff. ---

I don’t have a television. I don’t use shampoo, just water. I use soap instead of shaving cream. I usually ride my bicycle to work. When I get to work, the vehicle I drive for business purposes is a Mitsubishi i Miev, which is 100% electric, zero emissions, uses no gasoline at all. I haven’t eaten beef or pork since 1992. I haven’t spent a single penny at McDonald’s since 1998. I stopped eating at _all_ fast food restaurants in 2011. I usually buy clothing from thrift stores. I never buy anything from Wal-Mart, and I rarely shop at Target or K-Mart or Sears. I almost never go to the mall. When I get plastic items, like a single-use fork, I use it several times before I eventually throw it away. 100% serious, no sarcasm here. ---

I don’t use words. What you see here are not words. They are simply thoughts conveyed in these shapely, black lines and curves, placed in proximity to each other because they are cold. I have the air conditioner set to 68. Had I not had the air conditioner to 68, these “thought” things would be scattered all over the page, making less sense than this post. ---

Don’t wake to an alarm clock, never have, unless I’m catching a plane. Have never owned a bathroom scales. No weight issues, why bother? Game console. They got more expensive just as life changes arrived, so we never took it up. Car. I’ve never owned one or a driver’s licence, either. Hi Def TV, haven’t really noticed because we’ve never had it. Didn’t really feel a need. Cell phone. Have a new ipad Mini with a text app, seems to fit my needs perfectly. (Don’t really feel superior though. I do feel fortunate though!) ---

I don’t use my elbows. I keep my arms locked straight at the elbows all the time. Who needs 'em? I’ve got wrists and shoulders that rotate just fine. Eating is a challenge, though. And brushing my teeth. And doing… other things. ---

Since each individual member can set their viewing option to anything from 5 per page to 200 per page, linking to (or even referring to) a particular page of a thread is completely pointless and often misleading. Linking to a particular post within the thread, however, always works regardless of settings.
