I’d buy drinks for lots of folks, and I guess I’ll have the opportunity this weekend. I don’t want to make a big list because I’d leave people out. But if I had to buy a drink for one person right now, it would be **CrankyAsAnOldMan** , because she said really unexpectedly nice things about me in the Warm Fuzzy Thread and I feel exactly the same way about her posts! And, unlike Aglarond, she likes me for my brain and not just my rack. 😛 Cranky, I don’t think you are coming to ChiDope this weekend, but next time you visit Chicago, send me an email and I’ll buy you a drink! ---

I’m not legally allowed to drink alcohol or buy drinks in the US. I don’t encourage drinking in any form because of personal experiences and other weird stuff. However. If I did . . . crap, my list is entirely too long. But (duh) it’s going to include Palmyra, Brunetter, ssskuggiii, Jester (get him drunk and then head his ass over to the SDMB Presidential debates . . . make me look good, boy!), PB, and Falcon. Beyond that I won’t comment. I can get drunk without imbibing alcohol. Just get me near a restaurant. ---

Everyone! But not all at once. For those who imbibe, I would gladly buy you a beer, wine, margarita, etc. Pick your poison. Likewise, for those who don’t, I would happily purchase a Coke, cafe mocha, a glass of sweet iced tea, etc. Then again, not to name [names\*](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=42639), but there are some people here for whom I would buy a drink, just to pour it over their heads.
