A drink for all my ChiDope buddies: Falcon, Silent Bob, Omni, UncleBeer, Gaudere, VileOrb (and jess), SaxFace, Milo, Jophiel, MikeG, boli, Magdelene, Omni (he drinks a lot), Inertia, GLWasteful, ShadowFox (but only a 1/2 a drink), Jeff42, Dropzone, Procupine (and another for her ā€œlittle blue friendā€), Omni, and whoever else i am undoubtedly forgettingā€¦ And a BIG bottle of Captain Jack for our hostess ValerieBlaise (donā€™t call her Val), who I am smitten with in a way that would make baby Jesus cry. ---

Iā€™d buy a drink for: Arnold - because we can talk curling together en franƧais; Bricker - because we can talk comparative law together; Tubadiva - because she puts up with us all; Eve - because sheā€™s neat. (I know, she only drinks non-alcoholic - so Iā€™d be able to afford two drinks for her!) ---

Hmphā€¦I post answers in GQ. I proffer opinions in IMHO. I flirt, joke, and commiserate (or joke more) in MPSIMS. I stay out of the Pit so folksā€™ll think Iā€™m a nice guy. What the hell does a guy have to do to get drink around here?! Oh. Buy one for everyone elseā€“sure, I can go for that. Even the trolls (assuming Iā€™m allowed to prepare the drink myselfā€¦bwahahaha). I like damn near everyone Iā€™ve encountered here on the Boards, and would be glad of the opportunity to get hammered (or hyper on caffeine if you donā€™t drink alcohol) in their company. You really want a list? Here are a few, in no particular order: 1. The mods and adminsā€“I have a lot of respect for 'em, even when I think their posts are dippy. 2. JimB, 'cause I said I would. 3. OpalCat, with whom Iā€™ve never interacted in any way, but who just seems to belong here, somehow. 4. Palmyra, 'cause I said I would. 5. Falcon, for being Falcon. (Howā€™s the job, hon?) 6. ChiefScott, Vestal Blue, and the rest of our armed forces contingent, for what they do. 7. Chronos, for his answers. 8. The rest of the DFW Dopers, because itā€™s convenient. 9. Satan, for the bragging rights. 10)The rest of my fellow neopagans, for dealing with fanatical Fundies so I donā€™t have to. 10. Well, when this San Luis Obispo DoperFest happens, I get a feeling Iā€™ll be buying quite a bit of drinksā€¦ especially for the chat regulars like Doobieous, pricciar, and SeaDiver. Hell, _anyone_ who shows up to the SLO shindig is getting a drink from me. I mean it. Really, I do. Even if it means pulling out the plastic to pay for the drinks of 300 Dopers. ( you realize this is being typed after consuming about 3 glasses of wine. so this may be null and void by the morning.) ---

Subject to funding, thereā€™s a drink on for any doper visiting Cairns or Port Douglas in Queensland Australia. It seems Iā€™m the only one that actually lives here. I live walking (staggering) distance from a number of good bars that look out over the crystal waters of the Coral Sea. Palm trees, tropical breezes and all that kind of stuff. ---
