I feel… I feel warm fuzzies. All over. :o Maybe it’s just the cats, or my temperpedic slippers, but it still feels pretty good. 😛 I have too many Dopers I am thankful for to list. Even the ones I disagree with have new things to teach me… and sometimes I end up agreeing with them. Granted, a lot of this disagreement occurs between me and the computer screen, as I rarely have the heart to cuss someone out for what they believe, but sometimes I sit here and cluck my tongue while reading in the Pit and I think “Well. That’s not very nice.” But I am thankful for those people, too. I learn many things from everyone. I’m just built more for MPSIMS. I’ve made a few “favourite Doper” lists before, and they’re all on the list of those I’m thankful for, and let me add - everyone mentioned in this thread I am thankful for, everyone who posted in this thread I am thankful for, and everyone not mentioned in this thread I am thankful for - for the lessons I’ve learned, for making me think about the world around me, for making me think honestly about myself, for making me laugh, for giving me a good rise, for all the advice, and for all the one liners, for all the WTF moments, for all the poetry and MMPs, for interesting games and interesting threads. In no particular order: **Maureen** …because she loves me **World Eater** …because he thinks like I do, only he’s rabid, and as far as I know he’s the spiciest dish at the Man Buffet **Anastasaeon** …because she’s hott and has a poor physical self-image (any guy’s favorite combination) **QuickSilver** …The “just-a-little-too-lean-and-overcooked” beefsteak at the Man Buffet. And a helluva guy **jrfranchi** …because he’s my sock **Johnny L.A.** …cuz he’s a hyper-emotional sap. Like me. He’s my man-crush. That’s not gay by the way. **Swampbear** …he knows a lot about wildlife in the swamps **Busta-Chi-Chi of Toronto** …or whatever his username is… **Lobsang** …cuz he let us party up his place and didn’t report us for eating the neighbo(u)r’s do…er…eer goat. **Anamika** …my fantasy dominatrix **Kythereia** …completes my “3 on me” fantasy **GaryT & Rick** …for gentle corrections on absolutely wrong car mechanics assumptions aaaaaaaaannnnnnd all you folks who put up with my inane OPs from out yonder ('orse, rhinoceros, weasel, chili, saga, etc.) and, as was said earlier: Sweet Validation. **Miller, Silenus Cinnamon Girl, Ink a dink a dink** … ---

Thanksgiving was a month ago, but meh, I’ll play along. **Anaamika** , for being a strong-willed woman with a colourful personality. **Sampiro** , for having such a wacky family and being willing to share stories with us. **Aesiron** , for being the first person to ever call me a dork in the nicest possible way. **Evil Captor** , just 'cause. Of course all the mods and admins, without whom this board would dissolve into a chaos of cites and goat-felching, and who generally have a great sense of humor. And last but not least, **Hal Briston** , for making me think of sheep in a whole new light. ---

Ah, this is like that time I was terrified of winning the Oscar and not thanking somebody, but luckily Marisa Tomei won it instead so I didn’t have to worry about it. Basically, everybody who has complimented my writing and laughed at my stories because I’m a really really needy fellow in some ways (oh, you have no idea) and it encourages me to write- To Chaotic Bear and others who have actually complimented my photograph (even if I don’t share your taste I thank you for the words 🙂 ) Ogre, who first told me about SDMB and who proves that Renaissance men don’t have to be Italian or dead Eve because, like Zsa-Zsa, I just feel a little better knowing she still exists (and we need back-up for the fading Zsa) And too many to name really as I’d leave somebody out… ---

I’m bad with names, so there’s plenty I don’t remember. But every time I have a strange question, someone here comes through, and I’m grateful to them all. And to echo **Freddy the Pig** , I do appreciate the one-liners (confidential to **pravnik** : glad you “doked” out, because it cracked me up – the second post made it even funnier.) But, off the top of my head: **Misnomer** , because she doesn’t suffer fools but does make fools suffer. **David Simmons** , because I like his “been there, done that, got the t-shirt” attitude. **Blake** , because I mostly understand his posts and I think I learn something every time I read one. **Stranger On A Train** , because I mostly don’t understand him, but when I ask, he explains, and it makes sense. **roger thornhill** , who I think skates on the fine edge of absurdity, but always knows where he is. **Random** , who shoots from the hip and takes no prisoners. **Gfactor** , because his method is a good counterpoint to others’ madness. **jrfranchi** , because he is one of a dying breed: a good man. ---
