1969 here. There are too many pages here for me to see who I coincide with. How about a poll consisting of every year from, say 1945 to whatever 18 years ago was. Then all I’d have to do is click a clicker on the internet. ---

Disney had _Peter Pan_, Salk announced his polio vaccine, and Ian Fleming produced his first Bond novel. Mickey Mantle hit the longest home run in baseball history. Crick & Watson published their findings on the DNA molecule. REM sleep was discovered. The first Corvette was built. So, not too bad a year. ---
