At the most recent family gathering I attended, both of them and their younger brother (August 2, '65) were making jokes to the next generation (my grand-nephews and -nieces) about not having mobile phones and having to walk 8 miles to the nearest pay phone. 😃 Not to be outdone, I reminded everyone that I had to walk TWELVE miles to school and back. And it was UPHILL both ways! … And then my jokes got really silly. :rolleyes: ---

1. I can’t believe you kids born in the '80s and '90s are even old enough to be out of the house unsupervised. Our freshmen were born around 1995, when I was 30! Get off my lawn! ---

Apparently I missed this thread the first time around… I’m another ‘Summer of Love’ 1967 baby. It wasn’t quite planned that way, though…I was a 20th anniversary ‘surprise’ for my parents 🙂 ---
