None. Lack of exposure is probably a big reason for not trying any of them. I am curious about them and their effects. I suppose I have some fear because some of the stereotypical delivery systems are unpalatable to me…I don’t want to smoke or snort anything and forget injecting with a needle. Maybe someone with more knowledge can set me straight on how they get drugs in their system in the first place. If the drug was in a brownie or a tasty drink I’d might give it a go. I’ve never smoked anything but do drink alcoholic beverages occasionally. ---

None for me, too. I’ve never been much influenced by peer pressure, and my reality is good enough that I don’t seek to alter it. I’ve often wondered - on cop shows it shows the buyer opening a bag of heroin (I presume - white powder) and tasting it to make sure it isn’t powered sugar or something. What does it taste like? If it’s cocaine, their probably testing for a numbing effect. Put it in your mouth and it’s like novocaine. ---

I really enjoyed marijuana in my yoot and I’m looking forward to picking the habit back up in my impending retirement. Hopefully, by then it will be decriminalized for recreational purposes and available at legitimate commercial establishments. ---

It also requires a really big pill, this goes for both real and synthetic mescaline. So if you took a small pill or blotter, that’s one way to rule it out. Of course, even if what you got was in a big pill that still doesn’t mean that it _was_ mescaline, but if it wasn’t you can be sure that it either wasn’t mescaline or it wasn’t enough to have any effect. Out of curiosity, I tried pot twice back in the mid-70s. One of those times I coughed so hard I thought my shoes would appear; the other time, the addition of rum to the experience made me sick as a dog. Bad experience all around and I had no interest after that. ---

I smoke tobacco anyway, and I don’t mind the odd joint, but it is a very occasional thing nowadays. The one thing that I wish I could recreate, and the fun that was to be had at the time, is a proper pure MDMA E (X, I suppose, in North America). What larks they were, what larks, and sadly twenty years ago. I’d have to lie in bed for a week to recover at this age. ---

But I haven’t been drunk in ages, mainly because I don’t really like the sensation of being drunk. I’ve never tried any other kinds of drugs because, frankly, I’m scared of them. I’m scared of the very idea of mind-altering substances. The way people talk about what they experience when under their influence – it sounds like being under the spell of a magician. Or what one experiences during a dream. And I hate dreams. I hate the whole idea of dreams. I’m happy when I wake up not remembering my dreams, because when I remember them, they’re usually bad. In other words, the first time I were to take LSD, say, I’m sure I would have a bad trip. ---
