If you fill the boat with concrete, it’ll displace the same amount of water and sink. Density isn’t only about volume.

Google for some reason (wiretapping perhaps?) thinks you are looking for Sodium Hydroxide which is 2.17 g/mL in density. The correct number is 0.97 g/mL.
