I have a friend whose workplace contains a group of women known generally as “the bitches”. They systematically choose one person to be THE ENEMY and make their life hell. I would guess it’s that sort of thing that the article refers to.
Makes sense now. I missed where Nibbor said they had called the bank, undoubtedly just prior and leading to getting called down.
Since a “mob” is a gathering of kangaroos, I’d hope it meant that a bunch of kangaroos barged into the workplace and surrounded the worker, who may have gotten a bit scuffed up in the incident, but not seriously harmed.
I can’t be the only one thinking this.
